Gerben Van Duyl, a seasoned audio and cinema expert, joined DTS in 2001, driving DTS surround sound adoption on DVD and Blu-ray. Seeing the need for high-fidelity loudspeakers, he and Anders Uggelberg co-founded Procella Audio in 2005. Their innovation quickly earned recognition, winning Best Demonstration in Show in 2006. After moving to Sydney, Gerben founded Mareor Pty Ltd, specializing in home cinema and studio consulting. In 2024, he brought in new partners to Procella and remains a shareholder and APAC Sales Manager.
